At Nelson Designs LLC we take your ideas and incorporate traditional time-tested woodworking methods of construction. We add curves and pleasing lines to produce the best quality heirloom furniture.
We prefer to finish your furniture with oils and wax to enhance and protect the surface. With entertainment centers and bars, we use environment friendly water base finish for added protection.
Craig began woodworking in high school in Ledyard, CT. He attended New England Institute of Technology in Providence, RI where he achieved an associates degree in furniture and house construction. He built wooden boats in Noank, CT to further develop his skills as a woodworker. Craig then constructed his home and its furnishings, and a studio for a CT artist. Nelson Designs LLC was established in 2004 after increased requests for commissioned work.
